COME BACK TO YOURSELF

ONE LINE AT THE TIME

MOST OF US WERE NEVER TAUGHT HOW TO BE WITH OUR OWN ENERGY.

_______

We learned how to push.
How to cope.
How to numb, overwork, overthink, and distract.

I know that life intimately.

I spent years agitated on the inside — productive on the outside — using work, habits, and addictions to manage what I didn’t yet understand: a nervous system that needed regulation, not control.

Neuro-art therapy is how I started learning to slow down without shutting down,
to hold energy without leaking it, and to consciously direct what once ran me.

This work is for anyone who feels too much, thinks too fast, or has learned to survive by staying busy, distracted, or on edge.

WHO GROUP NEUROGRAPHICA IS FOR
____

For people who feel a lot — mentally, emotionally, energetically — and were never taught how to work with it.

  • High performers under pressure.

  • People in recovery or major life transitions.

  • Adolescents and teens navigating big inner worlds.

  • Anyone living with stress, anxiety, grief, or emotional overload.

This work isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s for nervous systems that are overloaded, overstimulated, or stuck in survival mode.

WHAT GROUP PARTICIPANTS EXPERIENCE
____

Neuro-Art Therapy uses guided creative processes to help participants slow down without shutting down.

Through simple, structured art-making:

  • the nervous system settles

  • mental noise softens

  • stored stress begins to release

  • awareness replaces reactivity

No artistic skill required.
No pressure to explain or perform.
Just a safe, engaging way to reconnect with the body, the brain, and a sense of inner steadiness.

WHY GROUP NEUROGRAPHICA WORKS
____

Most coping patterns — overwork, addiction, anxiety, emotional withdrawal — are attempts at self-regulation.

Neuro-Art Therapy works because it meets the nervous system first.

Grounded in neuroscience and expressed through creativity, this approach helps people:

  • regulate emotions without suppressing them

  • contain energy instead of leaking it

  • consciously redirect intensity into clarity and choice

  • It’s learning how to work with your inner energy, not against it.

It’s learning how to work with your inner energy, not against it.

WHERE THIS WORK SHOWS UP
____

Neuro-Art Therapy meets people where they are:

  • corporate teams and leadership retreats

  • keynote presentations

  • treatment centers and recovery programs

  • schools, youth groups, and adolescent settings

  • museums, wineries, conferences, and private events

The core practice stays the same. The language and delivery adapt to the room.

WHAT PEOPLE
ARE SAYING

____

I came to the Sip and Sketch class carrying significant stress from home and work. The format made it easy to settle in — the guided prompts, the focus on different areas of well-being, and the simple act of sketching created a noticeable shift for me. As the session went on, I found myself more relaxed, more centered, and appreciating the quiet reflection it encouraged. I also valued being in a room with others who were there to create and unwind.

I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a low-pressure way to step out of daily stress, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy a creative experience in a welcoming setting.

I am Julia Gindi, Executive Director at Hillcrest Residential Treatment Facility. We invited David to lead a series of neuro-informed activities for our groups, as part of our wellness and clinical programming.

His work combines neuroscience, creative expression and mindfulness in a way that truly resonates with our adolescents…we saw real breakthroughs in emotional regulation, self-acceptance and resilience. We highly recommend David’s sessions. It’s an innovative, heartfelt approach that genuinely supports transformation.

Although my work relationships have always been OK- I struggle with past trauma from personal relationships which can prevent me from making healthy bonds with new friends. Experiencing David’s workshop brought light to these traumas and assisted in being introspective and figuring out the specific memories that trigger behaviors that really don’t need to exist in my life that were preventing me from making those healthy bonds.

The exercises are fun, engaging and deep all at the same time and I highly recommend this avenue for healing past traumas and propelling forward with positivity!

I'm the Director of Alumni Services at Montare Behavioral Health in Los Angeles. I experienced David's work at a conference that I attended and was mesmerized with his process and found deep peace in doing the activity.

I decided to reach out to see if he wouldn't mind doing his workshop with a small group of alumni (11) that I was having a weekend retreat for in the Santa Monica Mountains at Oak Canyon Ranch.

We got to create outdoors and every single one of us was engaged in a deep meditative like state. We are all very grateful!

Lynne Biehl, Montare Behavior Health

It’s rare that I make the time to try new things, but attending one of David Morin’s art therapy events showed me how transformative trying something new can be.  I arrived expecting a creative workshop that would teach me how to draw better than a fifth grader, but what unfolded was something far deeper and profound. Through David’s gentle guidance and intuitive presence, I slipped into a peaceful, almost trance-like state—and before I knew it, I had made something unintentional and learned a lot about myself in the process.

What struck me most was not just my own experience, but the shared shift among everyone who was present. They all seemed touched in their own way, and in that collective vulnerability, genuine connection happened. I left not only changed, but with new friends—proof of David’s unique ability to foster true community through art, expression, and compassion.

David’s personal journey into coaching is deeply inspiring. Not many people have the integrity to change careers, let alone pursue their lifelong artistic passion. Now David gets to channel it all into helping others find the same meaning, healing, and self-discovery that he has found. I’m so grateful for the experience and cannot wait to do it again! If you have the chance to attend one of his sessions, take it. It may just change you too.

I joined one of David’s group art therapy sessions over the summer while I was preparing to start my final semester of nursing school and working face-to-face with patients as a Patient Registration Rep at Cedars-Sinai. When one's workday is full of constant patient interaction, you get used to staying ‘on’ all the time, and it’s rare to have a moment that actually lets you unwind. The creative part was simple and genuinely enjoyable, even for someone who doesn’t consider herself artistic, and it helped me unwind in a way I didn’t expect. What stood out to me was how natural and low-pressure the whole experience felt.

David has a rare ability to connect with literally anyone — he makes people feel comfortable without even trying, and that made the session genuinely relaxing and surprisingly fun. It gave me a break from the constant ‘on’ mode I’m in at work (not to mention the anticipatory stress of looking for a new grad RN position!), and I’d honestly recommend it to any healthcare worker who wants a simple, approachable way to feel more open and less weighed down.

We hosted a transformative employee wellness workshop, and the activity was out of this world! As much as we love laughing and chatting, the process brought on silent reflection and concentration and the results left us I awe.

Everyone had a great time and expressed their gratitude for being part of an unforgettable event.

EVENTS & SOCIALS
____

Our events are more than gatherings — they’re moments of recalibration.

From sip-and-sketch evenings and museum mindfulness nights to immersive workshops and keynote talks, each experience is designed to slow the nervous system, spark self-awareness, and offer a simple way back into presence — without pressure or performance.

And if you’re imagining something more intimate or intentional — a private gathering, a retreat, or a keynote that shifts how people relate to stress and energy — you’ll find ways to explore that here as well.

Experience it for yourself.
Or bring it to your people.
